Beneteau Swift Trawler 35

The Beneteau Swift Trawler 35, introduced in 2017, is widely acclaimed as a safe, comfortable, and ingenious motorboat.

The predecessor to the Beneteau Swift Trawler 35 is the well-known Swift Trawler 34. This model, of which more than 400 units were built, seemed an unsurpassable success, yet Beneteau is convinced that with the introduction of the new Swift Trawler 35, they have established an even better player.

To win over motorboaters, the Beneteau Swift Trawler 35 will have to surpass its predecessor in design, performance, and onboard comfort. Equipped with the renowned Cummins engine delivering 425 hp, the performance is certainly good; this extremely reliable Cummins powerplant is a favorite among experienced motorboat owners.

What's particularly striking about the design is the significant increase in living space, both in the cockpit, where you'll find the same striking folding doors as on the Swift Trawler 30, and on the flybridge, where there's more fixed seating but also plenty of room for things like aft sun loungers.

The interior is bright and spacious, and the new Alpi New Teak gives it a more modern, classic look. The double settee easily converts into a double bed, and striking features include double folding doors to the forward cabin, a larger, lower bed for easier access, and a head with a separate shower area through a plexiglass door.

In the saloon, the L-shaped galley is very practical for cooking on board and underway. The sliding door at the helm is wide, allowing easy access to the outside for mooring at bridges and locks. The starboard freeboard feels very secure thanks to the fixed guardrail and is wider than the previous Swift Trawler range. The Beneteau Swift Trawler 35's looks are clearly more modern than those of the Swift Trawler 34, but they certainly suit this model perfectly, and Beneteau has improved on many other aspects compared to the Swift Trawler 34.
